-20 Prestige hit followed by GDP Drop

Bug description : Playing as India, considered a major nation, decides to veto Sri Lanka's entrance to the UN and take a -20 prestige hit. The next day the GDP was halved from ~9k to ~4.5k instantly, it is now rising slowly.

I wonder if the game is using a similar mechanic to Victoria 2, where prestige is compared to other countries to determine World Market buying order.
