Well you'd have to track down the guy who leaked it assuming the source code still exists and he can somehow get it. Or you can do it the hard way and work backwords through everything to get that source code either by doing yourselves or finding someone whos good at that and does it for you.

I think the guy who leaked it wasn't a dev. Just a beta tester. So unless a dev decides to go rogue, the hard way is the only way.

We'd basically be trying to get our hands on HoI's source code and lolno.

Realistically, our only slight hope is of at some future point Paradox deciding to open source the pre-CK2 Clauswitz code.

Which I believe they said they won't do, especially after the East vs West leak. That being said I really hope they do, maybe after all their games are on the post CK 2 engine there will be a good shot.

Yeah that sucks, invasion can be quite a vital part in a plan, for example if someone wanted to play as USA in korean war how would they make the incheon landing =/ Unless we can make some kind of script that runs when you click on land when you are next to tht province, alltough that scriptin knwoledge is far above me

How many places has it been tried? Is there a chance that certain provinces are bugged? Or could it be something about the unit files for the ship/unit that could be bugged. Just trying to throw out some alternate ideas.

It's not a solution, but there is a glitchy way for a player to invade an undefended province by sea:
1. Move your transport fleet next to the coast. 2. Select the division it is carrying. 3. Click the Detach Unit from Unit Hierarchy button, then click the Create New Army button. 4. Select the new HQ unit created in the sea province. The game does not understand that it is loaded onto a fleet, so you can give it a movement order onto the adjacent land province. 5. Since it is only an HQ and will thus lose any battle, you'll want to transport proper units quickly to reinforce it.

Hi all, Here my first attempt: EvW_3.bmpEvW_1.bmpOne problem is that the devs of EvW somehow edited the pictures so they would look more photorealistic. I can not really describe it but the original ones look like if they are on TV. I really do not know how to achieve this, maybe you know how to do that. In my opinion it is not that important but it is plain to see which pictures were added later and which ones were added by the original devs. The other problem is that the picture of Kamal Jumblatt seems to be a bit sandy and coarse. Maybe this is only because of the specific picture itself or it is a qualitative problem. I will try to find out what causes this tomorrow when I am adding pictures again.

Use the attachment I've added. It's for Paint.Net and follow the instructions in the layers. Attachments:portrait_template.pdn (11.94 KB)

I tried searching through the HoI folders (using Textcrawler) for some kind of analog we could maybe steal, but there doesn't appear to be one. I like the ingenuity of nguyen's technique, but...really wish we didn't have to game the system like this.

We could pay a bunch of Chinese hackers to get us the source code

So thanks to Medibee I managed to get a proper picture for Kamal Jumblatt. From tomorrow on until Wendnesday I am not to able to continue my work because of a funeral and some family problems. But when I am back home I will continue working on the missing pictures and later try to upload them when all of them are finished. Greetings Comandante EDIT: All in all the picture fits, but maybe it is a bit too dark. Perhapse I am gonna lighten it up a little bit. EvW_2.bmp
