Can't join U.N as P.R.C

Playing as P.R.C in 1961 start date i want to join the U.N.
I go to diplomacy and see that the button has the blue light, indicating that i can press it.

When i hover the cursor over it it goes dark. When i press it i can't join, the reason listed was first that i need to be at peace, i was at peace, no war.
I waited then beeing at peace requirment was no problem, but now i needed "Flag_ITA_1947_peace_treaty".

Why is that even a requirement? is it just a placeholder? anyone else have this problem?
Can anyone try the same as me and see if it only me or if everyone has this problem


EDIT: I noticed this apply for most other countries aswel, today i tried Rhodesia and a few others and it doesn't work.
It means we should priorotize this.

Still this puzzles me why i get this playing as P.R.C.

Must be, because this makes no sense, i will look into it tomorrow how to fix it, but right now i have no idea, so any sugjestions are very welcome

I also noticed this. I believe it's an anti-spam modifier. A global flag thing that only allows one country to apply for membership at a time.

That may be true, but it still doesn't explain why a treaty from 1947 would prevent the PRC in 1963 from joining the UN.

Atleast AI P.R.C joins Nato, so its only a problem when you play them.

This happens with any new country you play as if you try to join the UN. I've seen it with Israel and Jordan as well. For some reason the button turns into the unclickable grey color when you hover your mouse over it.

Maybe introduce an 'ai = no' value, so that the player can join regardless of the anti-spam filter, because the human is not going to beat the AI in pushing the button.

The above is me.
Playing as Japan, I had the same problem.
Getting into the 1950's, well past something that has a flag for '1947', I am not sure how to deal with it.

Playing as Spain for nearly 25 ingame years. I tried to join the U.N, if you are fast enough and click it before it goes grey, it will work TESTED!.

I ran into this problem as well with the DPRK. However I fixed this simply by clicking the check mark box before it darkened. Sounds kind of odd but I simlly attempted to click it before it greyed out, kind of a speed trial but it worked after a couple of attempts.

I can confirm that it is very possible to join the U.N. indeed, you just have to be fast and click the box before it goes
gray, it requires a few tries but you'll get the hang of it
