I'm playing as north korea, and i just started, so i capture Kaesong and Incheon and both USA and South korea sends me white peace offers. I continue to capture all of the South korean land exept for the island Jeju.
Since they only want white peace i build a transport ship, i place my units at the Mokpo port, i move my transport ship there, and load it on, i press on Jeju to do an Invasion, it doesnt work, the ship just drives out in the water and then drives back into port.

yes, they have. I was also sutding this annoying problem. I tried all the variables to identify the problem, and did not find a logical reason. I copied the HOI 3 the characteristics of the units of invasion in those of EVW and this did not work. I spent two days with this issue and I gave up, because for me it is the main problem in the military sphere, as it prevents any action in countries that are not contiguous.Greetings.

Yeah, this is pretty game-breaking if we can't fix it. Does anybody here have the chops to decompile the source code and know what the fuck it says?

But taking a decompiler/disassembler to this seems like a futile task. My guess is there's a reasonable amount of copy protection in the .exe.

To be honest, without amphibious assault it kinda feels like gg; pointless fixing anything else, the game becomes unplayable if we're all landlocked. Hopefully a solution can be found, but I'm not hopeful at this stage.

We can't go down without a fight.

What if as a temporary fix we create a bunch of province adjacencies. It's crude but it gets the job done for now until we can dig into the code and try and fix the issue.

I think an Alaska to Siberia connection would be good. Maybe a Los Angeles to Japan, and then a Japan to South Korea network would allow US troops to get to Korea. Clearly a New York to Southhampton and Southhamption to Normandy connect north america to europe. Florida to Cuba also works

Florida to cuba sounds fine, but a Direct US to Japan doesn't really make sense. Transporting to allied lands still works. A Jeju to NK would be fine.

Does anybody here have the chops to decompile the source code and know what the fuck it says? sometimes thinking about why this item was not included I have come to think that the designers wanted to raise this game issue differently, ie since the Second World War there were no larger landing operations amphibious with one exception "the Falklands War" all other conflicts were made from own colonial territory or from adjacent countries which gave right to transit. Do you not think that in the period of the Cold War, interventions have to be made from diplomacy and pressure on neighboring countries to which they are situated in conflict and should be specially arranged diplomacy and the ability of AI to attract countries to two great alliances and other minor?

So can you Fix it somehow or not? otherwise it's like unplayable because it seems that even Airborne Units have been remooved... i haven't tryied to build any Air Transportation Aircraft to Test if there is a way of Airborne Landing Operations... BUT even if it is my expirence tells my that Airborne Landings where always greatly limited by the very small range of theese Air Transportation Aircrafts which would mean that long range huge scale ops would still be impossible... look i know there is at least the possibility to play the game in a small ram of features... BUT THE GAME WAS NEVER COMPLEETED SO ITS VERY LIKELY THAT THE FEATURE OF INVASION WAS NEVER YET IMPLEMENTED THE QUESTION IS CAN YOU IMPLEMENT IT SOMEHOW WITH STUDY THE HOI III FILES AND THE SOURCECODE AND THE GAME FILES OR YOU CAN'T IN THAT CASE I GUESS WE SHOULD STOP PLAYING...without the Option to Invide other Country's the Game is basicly not playable with only able to play on Landlocked as long as not having Waterstrait's forcing to make transat rights witth nations this routes are conected to is not a solution! therefore still many country's would be landlocked... for now it looks like you can only play the NATO in the Korean War, the Arab-Israeli War, the Vietnam War, Afghanistan War, Gulf War with all Middle East Country's (Mainly Iraq,Iran)and offcourse a WW3 in Europe except English Islands offcourse, and all other continental neighbour conflicts that may occur in South America,Africa,Asia,Europe ...THAT IS SOMETHING BUT PRETTY LIMITED IF YOU ASK MY
SO AGAIN ARE YOU ABLE TO FIX IT? IF NOT... WE CAN ALL GO BACK TO HOI 3 AND BETTER TRY TO MAKE A GOOD COLD WAR MOD FOR HOI III (like that one "unofficial DLC" instead of standing heere and dreaming cause this isn't taking us any further) And Excuse my if i am beeing a bit offensive i do not mean to offend anybody personely!
