Blue screen when clicking on "trade"

Hello everyone,

First of all I want to say that I am quite excited about this EvW project. EvW was the game I was looking forward the most and I was really sad when it got cancelled.

Here my problem: in the economy section, when clicking on the trade button, the game freezes, ending up with a blue screen. Is this a known thing?

Further things I noticed that I also already found in other posts (I started the Korean War 1950s scenario as GDR and am in 1958 now):





- Research is really slow (probably also due to low income)


- Economy: the income is very volatile - towards the end of my experience in 1958 the income became very low, also affecting the research of course


- After around 5 years the AI had almost 100% infrastructure in their provinces - is this normal? Even the USSR was totally "green" all over Siberia


- While moving around in the politics section, things slowed down a lot after I changed some policies - I saved and restarted - sometimes it helped, sometimes it didn't


- The AI is not very active in Europe

- it feels a bit "wooden" in a sense that nothing is really happening
- I have the feeling that command buttons are hard to click with the mouse in a sense that if you hover over a button, it is not illuminated/activated


- USSR is the only Warsaw Pact nation in 1958 - NATO has 13 members. But as far as I can see, no other countries align to either side

The trade button issue is definitely a fairly crippling bug. The ai is definitely what needs the most work at the moment, that way stuff actually happens.

There are people on here working to address the ai problems. Obviously we need to recruit more people with coding or ai coding experience to help them out and speed u the process.
