Hello, I'm writing an AAR over here: eastvwestnews.proboards.com/thread/29/aar-ottoman-resurgenceI've played another 2 years since the end of it, and I can't annex Syria, or get any of its provinces/regions, or puppet it, or even offer a white peace. All options say "Impossible 0.0", and are rejected. It's fully occupied and has no allies to come to the rescue. I have, in a previous game, annexed Israel playing as the same country (Turkey), but it took a little while of the same thing (only a few months) before finally capitulating. Is there some game mechanic I'm not understanding? I should be able to annex a nation I've crushed and occupied for two years, right? Cheers, Tiberius |

Just did a quick test by invading Lebanon - same problem. "Impossible 0.0" for every diplomacy option, even if I offer them half of Turkey.  |

Hmm, interesting issue. The only problem I've had in this vein is once playing as Israel in the Arab Israeli War, I defeated Palestine decisively and it took several months for them to surrender completely. I know I triggered several reactions from neighboring Arab states like Egypt and Jordan, who joined the war after a time and tried to invade me, and I had to first fend them off before annexation was finally an option. Maybe there was something like that - and reloading your save simply prevented a trigger like that from occurring?

What are the heads of states? The leader of a country like a King or President. Head of government is usually someone like a chancellor or prime minister. |

It happens ,if your head of state is british queen. The only times the HOS and HOG are 2 different individuals, are in constitutional (or otherwise) monarchies. In that case HOS is the king/queen, HOG is the prime minister of the parliament. That's inclusive of British Commonwealth nations too, like Canada, whose HOS is officially the Queen. |

Deleter - not sure who the head of state was, but I eventually could annex them, and haven't had problems with annexing nations since. Sometimes I have to wait a little while for the chance to go up to 100% but it always happens.

I had no problem with Israel with annexing Palestine as I finished the war before other Arab countries joined. Somewhat later I declared a war against Lebanon and there I could not annex them despite only being at war with Lebanon and it showed surrender progress 100% and I couldn't even get a single province out of it despite totally eliminating their army. I thought that OK maybe it has some problems with making a peace deal with Arab nations but then I got an event that made peace and I had only one option and I had to give up every conquered territory. |

If you wait it out (leave the peace offer window open) at some point it will change to 100%. Pause game and send offer. It switches back to 0 again if you don't pause, but will come back if you wait. Still a small bug but it isn't totally broken.

Can someone just offer a solution to this. I Can't annex Argentina or Bolivia.. It's annoying

It's annoying There is a solution if you're willing to cheat, though I wouldn't really consider it cheating if you've occupied a whole country and it's just faulty AI refusing your offers. Pause the game, open the command console and type "acceptaction". Then send your peace offer with whatever conditions you want attached. Once it's sent, unpause the game and wait for the country to accept. Once you've annexed the country (or whatever condition you attached to the peace offer) open the console and type "acceptaction" again to disable the cheat - do not disable it before the offer has been accepted by the other country. |

My fix was using the yesmen cheat if i'm right. thank god for PI adding in the cheats XD.

I heard that alpha-version of EvW always write "imposible" with Peace after the war in every country.
I installed "East vs West Changes.zip (132.53 KB)" but this problem still exists like a problem with naval transports invasion. Does i must to install "version 0.86.0 (740MB)" for solving this problem?
