[SOLVED] Game crashes after loading save

Bug description:


So I was playing EvW yesterday, but I experienced bug today. Yesterday I loaded historical start "The Cold War Begins" and played till September 1947, I saved game and quit. Today I started game, loaded save game and after few hours of in-game time (9 pm. to be exact) game crashed (application stopped working). So I was curious about what happened, I loaded again and the same thing happened, game crashed on 9pm. I thought that maybe it's problem with save, I loaded autosave (half year autosave) from 1 July 1947 and game crashed on 9pm. 1 July 1947. I realised that it was not problem with save, but with game. I loaded "The Cold War Begins", few days passed and I saved game, then resign and loaded save. Everything worked fine, so I quit the game and started EvW again and loaded the same save that worked just moments ago and it crashed at 9 pm.

In short: Save games seem not to work after restarting whole EvW application and are crashing on 9 pm of in-game time.

How to re-create the bug: Start EvW application, choose historical startdate (I tested "The Cold War Begins"), let few days pass, save game, quit game, start EvW application again and try to load your savegame.

Update: After dowloading East vs. West 2.0 TEAODOSIUS the problem still occurs in exactly the same way (saves working after "resign", not working after "quit" and restarting game, crashes on 9pm.).

I don't know if this is problem on my side or is it known bug. Could someone confirm it?

I'll try it. There seems to be a lot of weird individual bugs, for example I can't access the trade window, in the econ screen, but plenty of people seem to have no trouble.

Sorry for bringing it up again, but it's very odd. I recently changed my graphics card, mainboard, CPU, did hard drive format and installed new operating system, played 2.2 version and the bug acts in the same way. I just can't believe that this bug is occuring on my PC only after so much changes. It makes this game unplayable (unless I will have my PC with EvW turned on all the time without saving).

I think I propably found a solution. After restarting game I can't load save game with AI control turned on, it has to be Player control, then after loading, I can change settings to AI control. I hope that this will help somebody in future.
