Playing as the soviet union, 30 sec after an embargo on USA and West Germany went into effect, Soviet unions rank went down from 2 to 32, and is not a major nation anymore.
This was in 1962, the game and just started.

The rank is modified by your Economic, Diplomatic and Military status as well as your prestige i think.... If you go isolated your diplomacy turns to a fail and that modifies your world ranking. If you do shit with your economy (because the economy is the major problem) then you go down again. Your military also affects, i don't know if it's for your military tech or war force.
We may take out the variables of Economic, Military and Diplomatic points from modifying the rank and work with the prestige thing as in Victoria II?
