I'm playing as the Soviet Union, i made a vote in the Warzaw pact faction to embargo USA.
When i try to vote on it i can't vote Yes, No or Veto, all i can press is Abstain.
All other member states vote Yes so the result is 7/8, meaning i am the only nation that has not voted. So creating the vote doesn't mean i automatically vote yes.
When the resut came in i got an automatic abstain. the year is 1962, january.

Are you sure you have enough diplomatic points to do so? IIRC voting Yes or No cost 1 and Veto costs 10 (despite what the tooltips say).
If not, wait a few months for them to accumulate before trying to start a vote.

If the tooltips are giving false "tips/advice" that is an issue that needs to be logged in the bug forum as well. It's quite easy to fix but can mislead new gamers unfamiliar with how diplomatic pts work.

Also i noticed something else, 30 sec after the embargo on USA and West Germany went into effect Soviet unions rank went down from 2 to 32, and is not a major nation. |
