I present for all fans of East vs West the final version which you can achieve and accomplish without access to source code, and only by patches: This version therefore resembles the full basic engine of what would have been East vs West Paradox:
1) Full diplomatic System: AI countries form alliances, warranties, non-aggression pacts, declare war, negotiate peace, trade agreements are established, military units are provided to the allies in danger, allies come to the aid of allies, etc.
2) Full set of organizations:
-The NATO and the Warsaw Pact seek and approve new members, launching attachments, preventing access to the "black market", declared war against sensitive or dangerous areas within its sphere or against countries, come to the aid of friendly countries or allies when they are attacked, etc.
-The UN can intervene militarily, establishing embargoes, etc
-the European Union has been added
3) The AI did not build military units, now can build new units.
4) stabilization and destabilization event happen according to a network of political,espionage, social... factors.
5) Yugoslavia, the Soviet Union and Communist China cannot be broken down until historical dates, while historically have created areas of possible political breakdown as Catalonia and the Basque country in Spain, England, Scotland and Wales in the UK, also USA can break up in certain areas of influence that will create national unions within USA: end of period and USA may decompose rather than the USSR as in this game:
6) it has been implemented for events in order to specify the countries involved in NATO, the Warsaw Pact, etc.
7) Conflicts will break naturally where the different alliances threaten to intervene.
8) Multiple errors have been fixed.
9) You can create new airports and so ai will do.
Clearly there are many errors of detail, but I preferred to focus on the framework of the machinery of the game, and what will remain is to improve operating factors.
