I really want to help out with this but cant mod to save my life. Is their any support I can give to help out that doesnt involve modding.

I'd say keep playing until you find a glitch, then describe it. And I mean play in a really extreme way, as in go crazy and do irrational things for fun, because that's usually where the most bugs are, haha.

Had one Game where the US went crazy and declared war on South Africa,National China(lol) and later the Soviet Union(me). does the Doomsday clock stay always at the same value? never seen it move. Even when ww3 started.

From my days'-worth of getting into the scripts and /common text files, the Doomsday Clock actually has no bearing on in-game events, and really just changes based on what year it is. It's in /history/diplomacy/DoomsdayClock.txt
